Nightmare Dungeon Rework: Good or Bad?

Alright, let’s talk Nightmare Dungeons in Season 8.

Blizzard is making changes to how they Diablo 4 items scale, with a bigger emphasis on dynamic difficulty, meaning enemy scaling won’t just be based on static tier numbers. Supposedly, this means Nightmare Dungeons will be harder but more rewarding the longer you stay inside. Sounds cool, but I wonder if it will actually be fun or just a slog?

One of the biggest complaints about Nightmare Dungeons in past seasons was that certain affixes made them more annoying than difficult (looking at you, Suppressor + Lightning Storm combo). If Blizzard is adding new affixes, they better make sure they’re balanced. No one wants another situation where half the affixes just force people to reroll dungeons instead of engaging with the mechanics.
